“ (A) Rake’s Progress" is an audio work produced by Kathleen White and Rafael Sánchez between New York City and Fire Island in 2014.

Kathleen White (1960-2014), was born in Fall River, Massachusetts and later moved to New York in 1987. Emerging as part of New York’s downtown art scene that was creating poignant reflections on community, Kathleen White also frequently collaborated with her partner Rafael Sánchez. Together, the duo became known for collaborations on numerous projects ranging from paintings and performances to sound works, writing, and public art projects.
